This subject has been discussed many times before, check the
archives.  In brief, there are two ways of doing it:

1)  Let PhotoShop (or other software) separate for you,
which will generate CMYK separations.  These assume you will
be adding a black layer.  You can tweak the settings in
PhotoShop to some degree.

2)  Do it yourself by copying each channel (R, G, B) to
individual B/W files and then inverting as you print.

Most people seem to prefer the second method.  Hope this
