Re: Heliograph process
If you read the review in last Sunday NYT you will see Heliograph Process as youed for this show is bull.
"She employs what she calls heliography, referring to William Fox Talbot's earliest description of photography as sun writing Ms Sacco sensitizes the surfaces of objects with light-reactive chemicals so they will register a photographic image"
So we all make heliograph.
The next show I am in i will call my prints heliograph.
Than I will get a half page revies in the Sundy Times
Take care my heliograph frinds

Please excuse me if this has been gone over, but what is the
Heliograph printing process, as used by the Argentine photographer
Graciela Sacco? I thought it was the name of photography groups in
history, but did not know it as an early printing process (didn't
Jerry Uelsmann belong to the New Heliographers in the early 60's?).
Please email me if this has been discussed. Thanks.
Sam Wang
PS: I love the idea of telling someone, "Excuse me but I gotta go
heliograph some important images now."
