Basically, once you fix out the silver halide you have a paper that is
rather heavily sized due to the gelatin emulsion layer.  I don't know
about other processes, but it is convenient for carbon/carbro printing and
testing.  I'd consider picking up his excess paper, but it is a long drive
from Boulder CO.
