Hi, this might be a little confusing to some, so I am writing this on list. I
don't think the failed delivery message is caused by anyone subscribing or
unsubscribing to Richard's new list.

It is that Richard has subscribed to *this* list under a different name, but
for some reason the name bounced the emails that he receives, so when you
post a message to the list, the list sends the message to the subscribers
(including him), and a failed delivery message is send from his system to the
sender (you, the poster of the message).

Richard didn't say he had undid the problem. Under normal situation, he could
have just unsubscribe from his new name, but for whatever reason (probably
some system error) he found that he wasn't able to do that, so he requested
the Gordon unsubscribe his new name. Gordon might be out for the weekend, but
this should be taken care of real soon.

*** Related to this, if you send a message and get a failed delivery
*** message, it does not mean that your message failed to get to
*** the list, so there is ***no need to resend the message.*** It simply
*** means that your message failed to get to Richard's new name.

I hope this clarify a little. :-)
