Nick, would be very enlightening if you would divulge the meaning of
"expensive" and "inexpensive." I"m wondering if I'm behind
the times -- bought an O'Haus triple beam balance for $100, when $100
was really $100... and have considered it a "good" scale ever since.
Though I'll add that the version with the dial that I later got at a flea
market seems to make accuracy much easier. I weigh paint for gum and use
the 1/10th gram measure a lot, tho think that's cutting a bit close.
What weights are you pursuing?
I have a digital pH meter -- and it's either defective or I am -- can't
make up its mind. Keeps changing -- and very slow. This does not make me
eager for digital scale, tho maybe that's completely different.
