This isn't how the software industry works. On the contrary, rather than
holding back things that are ready for market, they release things
before they've been properly tested. That's why Photoshop 5.1 came out
almost immediately on the heels of 5.0; to fix problems that the public
had encountered in using the program. Anything short of the next integer
is a fix, not a real upgrade. Believe me, if they had Photoshop 6 even
nearly ready, it would be in a store near you right now.
