bromoil paper
What I miss in the bromoil paper advices is the Kentmere ArtDoc paper, it
is far more easy to ink than the Agfa or other coated papers. In Germany it
can be ordered by Foto Brenner. They are on the WEB too. This paper is
comparable to the specific Kentmere Bromoil paper in texture and inking
capability; the latter is just heavier -not so important for bromoil- and
more expensive. Give it a try.
David Lewis paper is excellent for images requiring a smooth texture of the
paper, do not forget his bromoil inks, they make inking really easy.
The use of Liquid Light (Silverprint SE1) on a paper like Saunders
Waterford as a printing paper for bromoil, gives results uncomparable to
manufactured bromoil papers.
The SE1 is also obtainable from Tetenal as WORK, but if you buy it , check
the expiration date (if you want to be on the save side: buy SE1 from
Silverprint)
Good luck,
Henk
