Sil, I remember that a while back you recommended Corning Glass Cleaner,
and someone on the list (Katharine maybe) had used it & also endorsed.
It's not good for this? No longer made?
And speaking of that residual coating -- does it ever ! I've used some
that I COULD NOT GET OFF contact and vacuum frame glass, etc. ESPECIALLY
those marketed as "anti reflection."
