Digital expert Scott Martin (formerly a Lightjet operator) says the
following about ideal resolutions for Lightjet output:
"Exactly 406 dpi. (Res 16) Very few labs actually output at this
higher resolution since it is slower and and exceeds the resolution
of most papers. RCS (River City Silver) images at 406 always."
River City Silver in San Antonio does great "traditional" (color print)
output from their Lightjet but I'm sure they'd charge a set-up fee to
change to DuraClear and recalibrate for negatives. You can get more info
at www.rivercitysilver.com/. Click on Output Services for Lightjet
pricing. Or call (210) 734-3788.
Hope this helps,
Dan
