I've had my pre and mid 70's blad's for a good twenty five years now and
wouldn't trade them for any other 2 1/4. I've run them thru a lot of
weddings and they have more than paid for themselves. Should you decide at a
later date to change systems (not likely once you've used a blad) it will
more than hold its value, not to mention you can get a number of digital
backs that will give you the best of both worlds. Pay the extra, you won't
regret it.
