Yes, double coating the traditional formula brought the dmax to the
intensity I was seeing in Ware's formula. It has a better scale than my
tests with Ware's, i.e., better separation in the light tones. I didn't use
an
acid bath and it doesn't seem to need it.

BTW: I tried a few test with 2A + 1B for the traditional cyanotype formula
and the dmax was awful. So, assuming I mislabeled my bottles, I tried 2B +
1A and that was a little better but still nothing to brag about.
