Apples and oranges, Keith. "Profiling" and "curves" are very different concepts. In Photoshop, profiling is the act of changing ink settings and this is done in FILE/COLOR SETTINGS.
In theory, if the correct profiles are in place, identical prints could be produced on different printers using the SAME curves.
As far as I know the 1270 and 1200 use different inks and different
printheads...
Be careful about using the profiles for a 1270 in a 1200...
The two printers definitely use different color and black ink
cartridges..
