That message was NOT written by me...
Someone created the account and subscribed for the express purpose of sending
an idiotic post...
I had decided to withhold a response, but now I fear that others may think I
wrote that message...

on this here...
And, whomever you are, you must really have some self-esteem issues if you need
to masquerade as another person to address this issue... Just because I acted
like a jerk in descending to the level of response I did, does not pardon
similar behavior by me or others in response..
Again, I am more than willing to discuss this off list...
There is one issue I will discuss here.. I did not post a fake virus to the
list... I posted a file renamed to "Format.exe." to show the danger of not
stripping attachments.. That's about as un-virus like as you can get. It
broke the rules on attachments and for that I was appropriately banned for
awhile, but it was not in any way a fake virus..
OH, and since I never got the chance to respond on-list, I volunteered, at the
time, to find and purchase the appropriate software for the list and Gordon to
ensure that attachments are stripped from posts...
FINALLY, I have not considered this a "win"... If I had "won", I would not
have felt any need to apologize as I did..
Now let it die.
