Hello all,
Please excuse my promo, some of you Californians may have a need for this.
A new web site, "Artistic Expressions," is being developed to feature the
work of California artists and artisans. The site features not only
painters, but a wide range of artistic talents including writers, composers,
performing artists, photographers, architects, woodworkers, handcrafters,
and all other artisans.
I was the original producer of the site; I worked in conjunction with the
ISP to have them provide the name and disk space. It is a community
service and therefore very inexpensive. The site provides a directory for
all individuals who work in artistic fields - we have however excluded
business listings. Pictures of each artist's work are prominently displayed
along with information about the art and the artist. The web site also
includes links to other related organizations.
The really good news is that there is no monthly or annual fee - at least
that is how we intend to keep it (ISP willing).
Currently adding a site search feature - assistance provided by the list's
own Wayde Allen. Many thanks to Wayde.
Those who would like to have their work featured on their own page as a part
of this attractive site are invited to join the new artists' registry. EACH
ARTIST'S PAGE HAS ITS OWN UNIQUE WEB SITE WHICH WILL PROVIDE DIRECT ACCESS
TO THE PAGE WITHOUT ACCESSING THE REGISTRY. Good for a business card. As
an example of the kind of page we are talking about, try my page
