Thanks, everybody for the great suggestions on where to find big trays.  THE 
place to go for cheap big trays seems to be Home Depot.  Somewhat flimsy but 
certainly useful 30 x 30 inch washing machine drip pans can be had for $19, 
but the big winner seems to be the very sturdy 24 x 36 inch concrete mixing 
trays for $11!  Excellent find, and thanks to Bob Schramm for mentioning 
this.

BTW, e-bay currently has three 20 x 24 inch trays going for $46.  It expires 
in a couple of hours.  Apologies if the high bidder is on this list!
