Mapplethorpe offended more people than anyone I can recall - not just
Jesse Helms. Personally, I found it offensive, and that's ok. I think one
can be offended by something and it should not bother others. If I am
offended with erotic scenes between men, I have that right. If it
happened to be a black man and a white man, it is not racism, it is just
offensive because of what it is.
