Re: Pack for 7x17 camera

The backpack I have for the 7x17 is called a Camp Trails. It is
relatively small and compact, yet I can still carry the camera, 4
holders, and a spare lens, with a total weight of about 20-30 lbs.
Really not bad at all and I can hike several miles easily with this
outfit and a tripod. I would suggest that you take your camera and
holders etc. to a good outdoor store and try a few bags out. I am
super pleased with the bag I have, though I only use it for day
hiking. To do work of the type you are contemplating would probably
require a pack frame.
