Yankee film tank & Pyro developing

I'm trying to find a suitable method for developing 2 1/4 X 3 1/4
negatives in pyro. I've tried tray, but it is difficult with this small
size film (for me anyway). I tried a makeshift stainless steel spiral
reel, but it failed to hold the film through the Rollo process (I'm
using Kinderman agitator and Nikor tanks, which works well for my 4 X 5
sheets). I thought an adjustable Patterson plastic reel might work, but
they won't lock in a dimension which I can load the sheet film into.

So, I thought I might use a Yankee agitank which is specifically
designed for these films and others up to 4X5 inches. Hutchins doesn't
recommend the lift and tilt method for pyro, but these tanks aren't open
so another style of agitation must be used. My thought was to get the
tank loaded (or otherwise I could just get loaded myself instead) and
try to agitate vigorously from corner to corner at 15 second intervals.

Anyone with ideas, comments, or suggestions? Obviously, I can't afford a
Jobo, so don't bother suggesting using one unless you want to front me
the money ;-}
