Hi

You know, I thought I'd give this a rest- but then up crops some real
poppycock

Well, your mind badly needs a clear out.

Weston was a prolific photographer of the nude. Even more, he was one of
the most influential photographers of the nude, ever. My God, the man was a
champion of nude photography! How on earth can you possibly use his words to
try to suppress photography of the nude? That is nothing short of a
preposterous nonsense.

So, difficult subject = don't bother trying? Oh dear oh dear oh dear. Good
job most serious artists take a somewhat more determined approach, isn't it,
really? Otherwise we'd all still be looking at pictures of the madonna and
child, and perspective would be a mystery. Don't you realise that pushing
the limits- at least your own personal limits- is part of the business of
making art? Or is art for you just pretty pictures to hang in your hallway?
Here's a tip- just because you don't feel competent to tackle a subject does
not mean that no-one else should.

That one needed editorial control, Judy.

Rod
