It either is, or isn't.

Art is an expression of the artist's soul.
It translates the memories, experiences
and emotions of the person creating the work.

With photography,
some would argue that the image is
captured rather than created,
therefore stripping away the
elements making it art...
(blah blah blah)

Those people aren't photographers.

If an image communicates in same way
it doesn't matter how it was made
or what market it was made for,
it's a work of art.
