In general, I see absolutely no reason to dry mount Pt/Pd or most other alt-process prints. Most papers lie perfectly flat after drying and pressing. I really prefer to have the artwork separate from the mounting support (most museums and galleries agree). The only time I dry mount a Pt/Pd print is when I'm using a vellum or other very thin paper that retains unsightly wrinkles no matter how long and hard you try to flatten it. And even then, I dry mount it to another piece of paper (eg Rising Stonehenge), then mount that with corners to mattboard. Wyndstone Parchment Vellum is a particularly wrinkly paper, especially in the heavier weights (5 pt), but it makes beautiful Pt/Pd prints
