Eric,
To avoid possible confusion,
is it correct to assume you meant to say:
I would caution against premixing Li2PdCl4 into the coating mixture.  I
have found it best to mix each coating mixture just before use with any
of the Li2PdCl4 solution added as a component.

The Li2PdCl4 solution should be stable and not go bad.  I have also
found it important to mix the coating mixture in the following order:
sensitizer, metal salt(s), contrast agent(s).  Any metal salts may be
mixed or matched, as well as any contrast agents.  It is recommended to
only use one of the sensitizers (FO or AFO are typically used, but not
combined).
