I get nervous when I read this!  Seriously, you have been adamant in stating
that with gum, nothing is definite.  I trust you'll do your own tests!

No, you just load up color and print.  Usually, in less than a sheet, your
color will be back.  Of course, you'll probably have to do a days work of
head cleaning to get it right, but that's the world of Epson!

That's interesting.  I didn't notice that with the Photo EX or the 3000.
It's probably a factor of the paper.  In any event, if you are getting these
results, all bets are off regarding my advise about 300 dpi, and that calls
into question ANY advise about using black only.  Better give the multitone
a shot.

I have never, EVER had a problem with re-registering by eye over a light
table with waxed paper negatives.  Of course, I *DO* use registration marks
in the border of the print...
