I have. I printed negatives onto printer acetate after adjusting the 
contrast in photoshop. The results varied. Longer exposures filled in the 
image. shorter exposures allowed for more detail. I have also toned these 
shorter exposed prints with tannic acid and this seems to bring out much 
more tonal detail for a more "full & clean" image.

I am using an epson 600 printer ( old one ) works just fine.
