Robert and Ken,

Thanks for your rapid help!  I chose the tan side up and didn't scrape the 
emulsion off during agitation, so I know I guessed correctly!  I just 
developed my first negative, a picture of our house that I thought I 
overexposed.  I focused the shot wide open (f 15) and took the picture 
instead of stopping down to f 60 at an ISO of 3.  THe exposure was 20 
seconds.  I'm surprised to see that the shadows in the negative are still 
underexposed.  I'll have to do a few recalculations.
