Hi,
I have used a starch spray on "Arches" paper with Van Dyke & with
CyanoTypes.
The images, after about 4 years, still look crisp and no decouloring took
place, however, they were kept in fairly good conditions, dry, in the dark.
I did not observe an improvement or difference with or without the starch
spray.
The emulsions went on well with and without it, and i could detect no
staining in either case.
All images were dried laying down, no heat was used.
