And this change in the paper may be quicker than realized. When
weighing coated prints with internal humidity different from the
ambient, the scale could be observed moving. I have not measured the
times for particular papers to fully reach equilibrium, but the
"exchange" of humidity seems rather quick (either into or out of) when
there is a measurable difference.
