Now this is admittedly off topic, but since we were speaking of Norman
Rockwell, I feel obliged to report this VITAL information:
The United States Post Office has issued a set of 20 34-cent stamps, each
with a work by a different American illustrator,including such as N. C.
Wyeth, Frederic Remington, and Norman Rockwell. They are utterly charming
and all lovers of illustration should rush to their PO for several sheets.
The only problem is I have not yet been able to bring myself to part with
one on a letter, which is getting awkward.
Oh, and a Maxfield Parrish, too !
