I did a web search using Google.com and found out more than I ever wanted
to know. Evidently Hydrogen peroxide is widely used for water treatment and
some other purposes. High concentrations have some hazards, its a very
powerful oxidizer. Its worth looking at the MSDS for it on http://hazard.com
No danger from the drugstore variety although it can be irrating to the
skin. It is commonly used as an antiseptic but really doesn't work very
well.
