Description:
Spend an energizing and refreshing week of photographic anarchy: reacquaint
yourself with the serendipitous magic of the photographic process.
Establish a deeper relationship with your perceptions and the images you
make.
This is an intense hands-on workshop exploring the possibilities that exist
for extending image dialog through toning and split-toning, the mordancage
process, and the use of low-tech cameras.
At the heart of this class is an exploration of new ways of seeing, using
the process of photography as our guide. Towards that end, I use various
unorthodox strategies to illustrate the organic and reciprocal nature of how
we see - including such diverse topics as wine-making and appreciation and
Japanese/ Korean pottery making....
The week stresses an enjoyably provocative approach to image making in a
supportive, experimental atmosphere.
I hope to see you there!!!
Best wishes - Jon
