I am going to have access to a Kodak Dye-sub printer and I have noticed they
do make clear sheets for printouts. So I have had a look on the web and in
Dan's book about using a Dye-Sub printer to make large (only 10x8 but...)
digital negatives but I have so far been unable to find anything to say if
it might work. The two things that would be a concern would be;
1) How clear is the clear film? (I have tried to get a sample or two of the
clear films to try a few tests on, but my normal supplier dose not normally
stock the clear base material and is unwilling to open/split a pack just for
me) Has anyone ever used or seen it?
2) Is a Dye-Sub able to get enough density range for Alt printing?
This would be my main concern so has anyone ever tried
Many thanks
