If anyone is interested, I have 15 watt ruby red and blue flourescent
lamps for sale. These are a T-12 size, (conventional lamps of this type
are T-8), and they will work nicely in any 15 watt fixture. Some of the
"under the counter" type of fixtures may have to be slightly modified to
accomodate the larger diameter of the bulb.
The blue lamps, although not UV labeled are extremely harsh to look at.
They have clear glass and medium blue phosphor.
The red lamps have ruby glass and red phosphor, very RED!!!
For those who don't understand the T-xx, it is in 8ths of inches. The
standard 15 watt lamp is 1 inch diameter (T-8), while a standard 40 watt
shop light is a
(T-12) or 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
Price is $10.00 for the blue and $13.00 for the red.
