I really didn't want to make a flame out of this but I recall that you had
significant reservations about revealing your identity to the list. That in
itself is controversial and instills doubt about the writer - Lord knows
there is enough to be skeptical about in this world, let alone trying to
accept the writing of someone who refuses to identify him/herself. As far
as being "less real" goes, if you had posted the information about yourself
as requested a while back, several things would have not occcurred, this
series of posts being one of them. And, I for one would have had less
reservations about your identity revelation posted a few minutes ago. Now,
I don't know if I believe you and more than that, I have the feeling that
you have more than one identity on this list - it's easy to enlist support
for your position that way.
Perhaps it's my own hangup, however, I have never been one to hide my
feelings or to err on the side of conservative politics. Your response
below demonstrates to me the basis for what I have been saying all along and
that is "it's wrong and you know it's wrong". Think about it, the sarcastic
nature of the post can only spell a personal misgiving on your part in all
of this.
As for my creditibility, I have never tried to hide anything from anyone on
this list - in fact I frequently go out of my way to provide info to posters
(off list). However, you will never here from me on a subject I don't feel
comfortable with (this not being one of them). If you want to know about me
personally or about my photography check out www.mcn.org/k/nick - or I can
provide you with my Air Force serial number.
