Katharine replied that I had forgotten Galina, Sarah Van Keuren, and
Christina. No doubt others, I daresay...
BUT, not knowing when such an opportunity will again present itself, I
note that past Post-Factory's have had *splendid* articles about Galina
("Nordic Russian Godess"), and Sarah ("Not by Gum Alone"), and that
Christina is promised for future (as is Ernestine Ruben). In fact the
women photographers on this list are an unusually gifted group, making up
in splendor what they lack in numbers.
PS. I'm pretty sure Galina was on the list before I was, so I wouldn't
be welcoming her -- but I've missed her lately. Of course she's
runing the "Alternative Alternative" in Horten, Norway, and is in general
a one-woman alternative herself. Which is to say preoccupied. (As which of
us is not.)
