I concur. I have found that the understanding of sensitometry, and to
have worked out Phil Davis' testing and analysis (Beyond the Zone
System), I gained valuable freedom to be much more sensitive to the
FEELINGS of tonal renditions. This is in addition to being able to
save time and materials.

Sure. Just remove it from its densitometer cradle and use it as a spotmeter.
