Calumet in SF carries the Black Magic emulsion. And believe or not they
keep it refrigerated. The bottle goes for about $50. In my experience I
did not use the hardener. I was making prints on watercolor paper. I have
toyed with the idea of making glass plates with the stuff, but it will not
have the 'look' of collodion. In the end you get prints on glass, but there
are many possibilities. If Alyson wants more information about this she can
contact me through the Photography office at the Academy of Art College,
