The question has come up about vacuum frame design. I've published in an
unlinked directory a design plan for a vacuum frame. I recently completely
restored a 54 x 44 frame I inherited from my late friend John Rudiak using
this system. It works great. I think my design used in the restoration is
superior to the original one used by Burgess Industries who made the
original.<brag brag!> Rudiak acquired the frame after it had spent several
years outdoors in Taos NM soaking up the Southwest sun and had never used it.
