Hi, I've been lurking in this group for a while and I've followed all
threads regarding the making of large format negs on the ink jet printer and
plan to try it myself some time over the long Chicago winter...
My question is this: years ago, I worked in an art supply store and we sold
two types of acetate - regular acetate and a type called "wet media" acetate.
The wet media type had one surface that was specially coated so that it
would receive materials like ink and water colour and acrylic without any
beading or resistance. When you are talking about using acetate are you
refering to this wet media type or is everyone using the regualr, untreated
acetate?
