We have a perkins-elmer fluorescence spectrophotometer that can be used
for said measurements. It's designed to measure the spectrum of
fluorescent samples, and has quite a large mixing box (though nowhere near
as large as a fluorescent tube. We simply bounce the light into the exit
aperture by placing a front surface mirror near the aperture. I'd be
