try old photocopier glass--if you can find and dismantle an old photocopier
(ha ha!)
i have an 18" square (1/2" thick) in a portable contact frame, and it is
wonderful for my cyanotypes, etc.
it has a slight green tinge, too (possibly quartz, not sure tho')
