I have run into persistent vertical banding on the Pictorico OHP
transparency medium when printed on the Epson 1270 or the 760.

This occurs in areas like skies, walls and fair skin. It is not visible when
the image is printed on plain paper or Epson's photoquality glossy and other
media.

I have run all the checks precribed in the Epson manual numerous times, have
had the printer checked out by Epson, and now turn to the group for any
suggestions or ideas.

I scan on Agfa's Duoscan T1200 in 16 bit in RGB, adjust the image in
Photoshop 6.0, and print it on the 1270 at 1440 dpi using the settings
suggested by Dan Burkholder.
