Hey Carl;

I'll post another contrast increasing tip that I discovered in an
embarrassing way: reducing an overexposed negative. I can state with
certainty that an overexposed, overdeveloped negative can be reduced in
Farmer's reducer cutting formula, and, if care is taken, give increased
contrast without destroying highlights.

I'd rather not get into the specifics of how I discovered the need to do
this. I'm not sure if this would be a recommended, intentional, approach to
getting the high contrast alt-friendly negative, but, hey, its there if you
need it.
