Actually it is on a part of the creek that adjoins Joe's land--the dryer,
that is. The washer is further downstream on Ms Pat's land. So it's their
problem. I did try to pull the dryer out, but evidently it has been in
there a long time and there is a lot of sediment silting up inside it,
making it extremely heavy. The washer is also old: you can tell because it
has wheels on it! Like those old tub washers that had wringers on top. No
telling how long they've been in there.

Actually I kind of like them. You can always tell if zone VII is placed
right by metering them.

The worst thing I have ever found on my part of the creek is a deer leg, but
it wasn't there for long. My dog sort of gnawed the meat off, and then I
guess the bones got washed away.
