John, thanks for the reply. When I say "spray", I am referring to the
requirement that one use Krylon or some other product to protect the
delicate image produced by the combination of Pictorico Film and pigment
based inks. The inks simply remain on the surface and subject to
marring/damage by just touching the surface gently.

Since you are using Piezography (pigment inks), I question the need to
"spray" the image to protect it. If I understand you correctly, you are
saying that you are not required to spray and that the pigment inks adhere
fully to the film in question here.

So for the record:

the name once again?
where to buy?
example of cost?
sizes?
what effect (if any) does the matte surface have on the clarity/sharpness of
the image?

As for the mid-tone problem, you asked when I apply the curve - in fact,
with this test, I don't invert to negative the image is a 21 step in both
positive and negative. The mid-tones go all to hell on both POS/NEG parts
and I believe because of the Krylon..................

Many thanks once again,

Nick
