Help!
I am beginning to experiment with POP emulsions but
have no suitible negatives (nor large format
camera)... nevertheless, I want to make meaningful
tests using a step tablet.
1. Does any one know if there is a suitible step
tablet for testing Silver Gelatin P.O.P. paper (eg.
Centennial)?
How would it differ from tha Kodak #2 step tablet?
Could it perhaps be hand made ? Any advice is
welcomed!
(How many steps? From film base density to what
maximum density?)
2. Does any one know if the American Museum of
Photography of Philadelphia 2 Pa. is still in
existance? Is Louis Sipley still alive? (I know Kodak
has a lot of his collection so perhaps they bought
it...)
3. Does any one have a current address or e-mail , URL
etc. for Amphoto?
4. Does any one have a current address or e-mail , URL
etc. for The American Photographic Publishing Company?
5.Does anyone know if Amphoto and The American
Photographic Publishing company are the same thing?
Thanks for you help!
Ray
