Tested another mordancage thing (said in one of the old patents). Took
two cups of regular hydrogen peroxide, and sprinkled in 1 tsp of copper
chloride, soaked the print in that without mixing really well. Whoa. The
oxygenating capacity of that was incredibly high (kept bubbling) and it'll
eat anything off of your print, including highlights. Obviously I mixed it
too strong, but it was interesting to see that the absence of acetic acid
did not deter the mix from working. It was real peppery looking, tho, as
the little undissolved crystals of copper chloride ate in little spots.
Gives a print a really nice/ugly deterioration look a la James Fee...
