David,

Okay, so what's a little churlishness among friends, anyway?

I've counted on the forgiveness and forgetfulness of this group with great
regularity!

As for your processes, what are you working toward and (more importantly)
how will you know when you have "something to be proud of?" Differently
put, how will you recognize it when you see it?

Subject: Apologies

Dear Alt Process list,
I want to apologize for my earlier churlish response to someone
advertising a darkroom for sale for a friend.
It was an ill considered and unwarranted response.
I've been an active reader of this list for a couple years, but as Judy
pointed out, I've not offered anything of note to the list. The couple
years have been spent learning a great deal from artists and technicians
I have an abiding respect for.
My kneejerk response is a holdover from largely fleeing Usenet due to
the omnipresent ads.
Hopefully, my behaviour will be forgiven.
I look forward to the day when I can submit posts to this list of the
caliber of some that I've read in the past.
For what its worth, I'm still experimenting with Kallitype, and Albumen.
Once I have something I'm proud of, I'll put it on a website for public
observation. Hopefully by the end of the year.
Sincerely
David Hosten
