Bob,
I have made albumen prints on relative thick paper (Simili Japon, the
paper I normaly use for Zia type, cyanotype etc.). It works, but a
thinner paper is much easier to work with, since one usually floats the
paper on the solutions, a thinner paper is easier to handle: float &
"unroll" .
I used the thinner version of Simili Japon (sorry do not know the weight
by heart).
