Re: Alternative sizing



I use a dilute solution of 50% water and 50% acrylic matte medium. I brush
this on the paper and when dry - just a few minutes - coat with my emulsion.
While I haven't done it, you could add acrylic pigment to the matte medium
to tone the solution to match paper or other aesthetic considerations.
I don't experience the problems with coating this sealer with emulsion as I
did with gelatin/formaldehyde.
