I've been developing sheet film in abc pyro by
inspection and I'm happy with the results - or at least
being able to have one neg for both silver and
uv-sensitive alt prints.
For roll film I want to start making some enlarged negs
and my question is, if I use that Bergger BPFB-18 film
for internegs and do the whole "stouffer stepwedge"
thing with the flat intermediate step, is there any
benefit to developing in pyro? I've never used a
stepwedge, but it seems like an awfully good idea. I'm
guessing the yellow stain in the negs but not the
stepwedge would make the comparison kind of useless.
Then, I guess the next question becomes, if the
stepwedge really is *all that* what should I do with my
sheet film? How does the wedge work with Pyro?
Thanks for your help and Happy Thanksgiving.
